TW, help!

Please read the whole thing, apologise for photo.

I had a faint line on a test around 5 weeks ago but it went after a few days. After trying so long and never been pregnant I kind of gave up so not taken one since however I haven't had a period in over 60 days.

I have had symptoms but tried to trick myself into not thinking they were real.

The night before the below, I had a fall down the stairs and it was pretty bad. Then yesterday this... around the size of my palm.

Top left you can see some kind of rupture and in the right you can see veins.

I wasn't convinced until everyone is shown had said it was.

What I wasn't prepared for is the pain - my whole body is aching, some provably off the fall but my partner is having to lift me out of bed.

What can I do about work? What can I tell my boss (m)?

I’m sorry for your loss. It sounds like a chemical pregnancy if the following tests were negative Flowers

A 6 week pregnancy is around the size of a pea, although the uterus is egg sized. I’ve lost pregnancies at 6, 7 & 8 weeks and, although I’ve had huge clots and heavy bleeding, they’ve not been palm sized lumps and the pregnancy sack was little fingernail sized. They also never caused whole body aching or soreness tbh.
Is that all jelly like or is there some firmness underneath the jelly? I’m wondering if you’ve shed a decidual cast as well as that is palm sized but a bit firmer than your image looks, although I’ve seen pictures of freshly passed ones that do look softer. It can also be painful.

as for your employer, you are in pain from falling down the stairs so you don’t have to tell them more than that really.

most people report decidual casts being about as big as their palm

Hi thank you so much for your advice. I just didn't want to kid myself one way or another without an impartial opinion.

Would you recommend needing to go to the doctor? Only reason I ask is i am still in probation for current job and although they would be fine my meeting is this month and I have had some absences already 🤦‍♀️
