When is it best to try again?

I sadly had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, and three weeks ago this was passed. I have just had a negative pregnancy result and I am wondering when I should try for another child again? Did anyone try straight away?

I wish I had more time, but at the age of 43 I feel like this is a time-sensitive issue and it took so long (9 months) to get pregnant the last time.

Hello, I’m sorry I have zero personal relevant experience here but I’m very sorry for your loss and didn’t want to leave you unanswered - I have known people to starting trying as soon as they’ve had a negative test and have successful subsequent pregnancies.
I got pregnant 12 weeks after my first birth which wouldn’t have been “advised” so I think as long as you feel ready physically and emotionally, go for it. Wishing all the luck in the world x

I was advised to wait and have a period first, mostly in the hope that if you get pregnant straight after that it’s much easier to date the pregnancy. That’s what we’re doing
