Hello hope your all well , I had a miscarriage almost 9 weeks ago , I was around 8 weeks pregnant , I bled for around 1 week after and since then I have had nothing , my periods haven't returned I was told that my period would return around 4-6 weeks time. I had a miscarriage back last October which only took around 3 weeks for my first period to come, is this something I need to speak to a doctor about or is this normal ? Has anyone ever had this happen before? TIA X

I’m sorry about your losses. Have you had a negative pregnancy test?

I haven't done a test , 2 weeks after it happened I was told to do a test which I did and it came back negative , I didn't really think to do a test now as I haven't had a period so surely I wouldn't of ovulated x

You may be pregnant with a new pregnancy. Ovulation happens before a period so you could absolutely have ovulated and fallen pregnant sometime since miscarrying 9 weeks ago.

So you have had a negative test then. This indicates that there’s no retained tissue. If you’ve been dtd then you may be pregnant again, if not I’d be checking in with the GP.

You ovulate then have a period if you've not conceived ... so you could be pregnant. Good luck!
