When do I POAS to check miscarriage complete?

We found out 2.5 weeks ago that we'd had a MMC. Went for a private scan ahead of anticipating telling my boss about the pregnancy (since I see her so rarely in person) and found out baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks, when we should have been at 8.5.

I would have been 11 weeks today. I started bleeding about 10-12 days ago, but I think I passed the actual pregnancy today - some tissue that looked very different to the usual clots, and have had heavier bleeding today than any other.

Question is, is today 'the day' I miscarried? I was told at EPU to take a pregnancy test 'after three weeks', but not really clear if they meant after the scan I had there, or after losing the pregnancy material itself. Thanks.

Sorry for your loss.

3 weeks after losing the material would be the earliest you might get a negative test. It can sometimes take up to 6 weeks even if there's no actual retained material but obviously it's important to be warned asap if there might be anything retained.
