So I've just been for a reassurance scan today, to find out that I've has my ELEVENTH consecutive MMC. They've also found a whopper of a cyst on my ovary. The sonographer is a very experienced NHS sonographer, and she's scanned me in all of my pregnancies, and was so upset to find that I've not had any of the testing or interventions she'd expect after my history of losses. Where do I start? Im under (believe it or not) 2 separate obstetric consultants. Do I speak to them? My gp? Do I ask for a referral to a gynaecologist and then ask for testing, or do I ask my gp to refer me for specific tests? I'm just so broken :(
