3days ago whilst working I had a gush of bright red blood out of nowhere, since then I have been spotting on and off sometimes a peachy colour other times it's browner but it's never enough to fill a pad and hardely there when I wipe. On the day I got the gush of blood my boobs suddenly felt a lot less tender than before, they are still sore but nothing compared to how they was. I went to the hospital and all they did was confirm I'm pregnant with blood tests and told me I won't be able to have a scan yet because I'm only 5 weeks. All of my pregnancy apps have told me I'm 6weeks +4 based of my last period so I feel like they got it wrong. My heads been all over the place, I got told to wait 7-10 days and take another test and until then I just have to try carry on like normal. I'm so confused so many people have said the spotting is normal and it could be implantation but I feel I'm past that stage and the first gush of blood was like my period had started not just small.
I will be calling my doctor first thing Monday morning and demanding I get referred to the early pregnancy assessment unit to see what's going on. My sister was referred there at 4.5weeks and they could just see a little flicker of a heart beat. Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms but gone on to have a healthy baby?
