Still bleeding - help!

On the 10th of May we went for a private scan and the sonographer couldn’t confirm heartbeat.

On the 21st of May NHS confirmed I was miscarrying.

Last week I literally had really bad labour pains/ contractions and miscarried.

however when I went for my scan they couldn’t confirm full miscarriage and have said I need to take a pregnancy test in a weeks time.

I am still bleeding!! When does the bleeding stop? It’s exhausting and a contact reminder of what I have lost. I’m due to go back to work this week.

I bled for 6 weeks during one mc after IVF. I tested strong positive all the way through. It was horribly distressing.

I’m so sorry @Mamaofdos I’m still bleeding more than 7 weeks later, but I did have a D&C after initial medical management. It seems to vary hugely. I think after 3 weeks you should let them know. It’s good they asked you to follow up with a pregnancy test.

Does anyone know if I have to wait until I get a negative test before I go back on contraception? Don’t think I could go through anything like that again.

Nervous about starting back work this week.
