I used this board after 3 losses including one devastating late miscarriage. After these I saw Raj Rai, part of the recurrent miscarriage team at St Mary's London. He found some inherited blood clotting genes in myself and DH (yep the man is important too) and prescribed blood thinners at specific times plus some specific supplements for my next ivf attempt. This was successful, my pregnancy very healthy and my baby is sitting next to me.
For anyone going through this, please be gentle and kind to yourself- you didn't cause your miscarriages by eating something wrong or anything else small that everyone does. There is hope after loss, sometimes either by finding a medical reason like we did or sometimes just by trying again and getting the right egg as all of us produce some abormal eggs. If you've had 3 losses or a late loss you are entitled to the detailed blood tests that one of the recurrent miscarriage centers offer so please push for them and if you have a partner hold them close don't push them away. You will feel better in time whatever happens
