Surgical Management Procedure

Hi All

I had a surgical management of a miscarriage procedure in February 2023.

Every now and then, I experience slight discomfort in my stomach area in particular spot. This could be, for example, when I'm sitting in the car or at my desk for a while (over an hour or so).

I am speaking to a private consultant as I have had two miscarriages and the NHS will only see people who have had three or more in my area. I have had various blood tests and will be seeing my consultant next week for a follow up/to review my bloods. I will also be having an internal scan.

I started my period a few days earlier than usual this cycle which means I'll likely be ovulating by the time I see my consultant. He doesn't have an earlier appointment to see me. I've been told that there's no issue in us trying now but I'm a bit worried there could be scarring or anything else following the procedure due to the occasional discomfort.

I know that I need to stay calm and act rationally, but is it worth me booking in for an internal scan elsewhere? At least for peace of mind!

Also, has anyone else who's had the procedure experience this type of discomfort?

Many thanks!
