Hi, wondering if anyone knows of this is 'normal' or any concern.
I conceived by IVF so know our exact dates. I tested positive at 4+1, started bleeding at 4+2, and then had pain and passing tissue at 4+5, so consider this to be the day the early miscarriage happened. I had scans at EPU on 5+2 and 5+5 and they confirmed nothing in my uterus or tubes, so pregnancy was of unknown location. However I have continued testing positive (last tested two days ago - would now be 6+4 if still pregnant) so think there's still hcg in my system.
The bleeding hasn't stopped yet, but it slowed right down to be just on wiping last week. But now it has come back like a new, full period. Any ideas if this is a new period or still related to the miscarriage bleed? At the EPU scan last week ago they said my lining was very thin, down to 3.3mm, so I don't know what lining I could now be bleeding out?!
Everything I've read says a period would be at least 4 weeks away but this is only 2 weeks since initial bleed and still with hcg in my system.
Any thoughts appreciated.
