Bleeding, cramps and faint lines... MMC?

Hi all,
I've been bleeding since Saturday night with period like cramps and back pain. Not soaking through pads but there when I wipe consistently. Rang the GP today and the EPU are scanning me on Friday.
My tests have got a lot lighter though and never got super dark to begin with. This morning it was a faint but noticeable line.

I'm assuming this is a miscarriage despite the doctors saying this is normal? Surely it isn't normal for tests to not detect HCG anymore? How long after a MMC is a negative test meant to appear? It doesn't look that far off for me...

Hi, light bleeding and cramping can be normal. If the blood is fresh red then it can be worrying. If its brown then its just old blood. And cramping can just be the implanting of the foetus.
Hcg doesn't decrease so rapidly, it can take weeks for it to go down after a miscarriage. You're meant to get a negative test after 4-6 weeks.
I hope everything is okay and this helps a little, I know from experience it can be daunting waiting for a scan. Good luck!
