Please help!! I’ve called the nurse and they will not see me until Friday. Apparently, I’ll be 7 weeks this Friday. On yesterday, this came out of me. I’m freaking out hoping I haven’t miscarried and Friday and so far away!

Have you experienced any pains or anymore bleeding other than that? Have you done any pregnancy tests since?
I've had 4 miscarriages between 6-12 weeks and all were very painful and a lot of bleeding/large clots, very different to what's in your photo.
If nothing else comes I would try not to worry.. They will probably give you a scan at the EPU next week. Hope it goes well x

Hold tight for now. Are your dates definitely right? Have you had an early scan? Was there bleeding before/after this? Request a scan if you're sure of dates, a blood test if you're not. Hang on in there, you don’t know it's all over yet Flowers

I know it is hard but sit tight for now and try not to worry (stupid thing to say but please try not to). From personal experience a bleed, big or small may not be a miscarriage. I had a very heavy bleed (found to be from a hematoma) at 7 weeks pregnant, I now have a gorgeous 7 month old.
Big hugs.

Thanks so much everyone. I haven’t had a scan because they will not see me until I’m 7 weeks. I’m so nervous, but trying to stay positive. No cramping or back aches. The nurse kept reassuring me that it could be my uterus shedding. I will definitely post an update here.

My first pregnancy test was invalid so I took a digital one about a week ago.

I had this and everything was fine. My bleeding was bright red and much heavier. I had a scan at 7 weeks, my dating scan at 11 weeks, then another at 13 weeks as i bled again... they never explained the cause

Mumma · 01/05/2023 02:31

For reference. This all turned out perfectly fine so try not to worry (easier said than done i know)

blahblahblah1654 · 01/05/2023 02:32

Can you get a private scan any quicker? You could be fine if that's all that's come out. When I miscarried it was bright red and much heavier than that.

Sunflower91fresh · 01/05/2023 02:33

I am trying to find a way to get scanned on tomorrow. I can only hope for the best right now. I really appreciate everyone’s input!

I feel relieved. Thank you!

Thanks so much. Maybe I will be able to rest tonight and stay off google. It’s been giving me mixed feelings because everyone has different experiences.

Googling can just make you even more anxious. Hopefully you can find somewhere to have an earlier scan. I'd find Friday too long to wait. Mine cost £65 so it wasn't too bad.

Sunflower91fresh · 01/05/2023 03:00

That’s not bad at all. Especially when the anxiety is eating you alive. I appreciate the support. I will call around tomorrow to see if I can get scanned.

I had a miscarriage everyone. Thanks for the kind words previously, I’ve been taking a moment to mourn this loss. It’s very, very emotional. Thanks again
