Is this a miscarriage? sorry for the picture

Hi,

Im honestly a little freaked out, i’ve had really bad cramps and back pain and had slight light bleeding which i thought was my period but then i saw this and i dont know what it is
im not trying for a baby or anything but me and my partner do occasionally have unprotected sex, could anyone help or share some advice
im not sure if this is a miscarriage but i have never passed anything like this when being on my period

Sorry OP, it looks like a miscarriage to me too. Have you had tummy cramps and lost blood too? Get a hot water bottle on your tummy and I'd stay in bed tomorrow if you can.

The midwife advice to me was to wait 6 weeks from now and then do a pregnancy test. If negative, then fine; if it still says positive it might be worth getting checked by the dr. Xxx

Yes so i started having cramps a few days ago and still have them now but last night is when i saw that sack type of thing. I was never actively trying for a baby but knowing this is a miscarriage its honestly bought me down so much xx

Take a pregnancy test as soon as you can it would probably still read positive if it is a miscarriage but the BhCG level halves by 50% each 48h I think generally.
It can be important for things like follow up and checking it’s complete etc, and also it may help you if you know for sure.
My recent mc didn’t look like that but mine started with the cramps etc like you describe.

I'm so sorry to see this, as someone says above if you do want to know for sure I would get a pregnancy test today if possible, it will still show positive even if it has unfortunately passed. It might not be the best news but at least you will know. It's also important not to have sex immediately after or use tampons if it was a miscarriage, as the risk of infection is high so it would be good to know for sure so you have time to heal xx

I’m so sorry for the image. Dear moms, is this a miscarrIge? I was not trying for a baby but I missed my period last month, today I was having horrible (what I thought were) period cramps and this came out. Is it a miscarriage?

Have you tried taking a pregnancy test? If you only just miscarried, it would still show as pregnant for a few weeks so that way you would know for sure xxx
