Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after 2 or more miscarriages?
I have recently had two early miscarriages at 7 and 8 weeks and would really like to hear some positive stories to keep me going.
If you had a successful pregnancy, is there anything you took differently or were prescribed?

Hi,

sorry I don’t have any positive stories for you just yet as I am in the same boat as you. Just offering a virtual hug and hopefully someone to talk to if you need it ❤️

I miscarried January at 6 weeks and just found out at a 14 week scan on Monday I am having a missed miscarriage and baby is measuring ~12 weeks.

it’s the most horrible thing to go through and I’m sorry you’ve had to go through this too. It’s heartbreaking. I’m wishing you all the best for your future pregnancies. Please try to have hope despite the hard times, I am also trying.

feel free to message me if you wanna talk ❤️

Hi
Also in this boat currently having a 3rd (or 5th if including CPs) miscarriage
2 in a row since January previously 6-7 weeks this one 8-9 I guess
sorry you’re going through similar

with this pregnancy I had progesterone from 6+5 due to spotting but it didn’t help I think it just delayed it slightly
wondering if I should have had low dose aspirin as well or started sooner

Yes! 4 mc in total and I have a 3 year old DD and a 1 year old DS. I'm also the member of a group where ten of us had mc at the same time (we met via mumsnet)... a few of those women had two mc. We all now have our rainbow babies.

After 2 consecutive mc and pushing 40 I didn't delay and sought help via Professor Regan's recurrent mc clinic in London. While waiting for blood results I had a third mc. After investigations I had surgery for a mildly septate uterus and progesterone from the start of my next pregnancy to 14 weeks and low dose aspirin throughout.

I would push for progesterone and low dose aspirin for your next pregnancy but line it all up now so you can get going as soon as you next get that positive test. My GP was amazing getting me the progesterone pronto and sending the prescription to a pharmacy while we were on holiday.

Sending lots of hope your way. Most people who have had two mc go on to have a baby. But it's very hard emotionally, the hardest thing I've ever been through ❤️
