Period after MVA?

Found out i had a missed miscarriage when i was meant to be 8 weeks pregnant (baby measuring 6weeks) opted for 2 rounds of medical treatment but it didn’t work at all for me so had a MVA procedure at 12 weeks pregnant. I had light bleeding for just over two weeks after procedure, no bleeding for around 5 days since. Now over 3 weeks later red bleeding has started which i think is my period as it’s the most I’ve had since the day of procedure. Anyone else had an MVA? Took a clear blue HPT today which is negative. All experiences welcome

Hey, I had an MVA in Feb, bled for a week after and my period started 4 weeks after the procedure. It was heavy, lasted longer than normal and the cramps were pretty rough. Sorry you have had to go through it, and I hope you have support and love surrounding you while you heal.

Hey, I also had an MVA in Feb after x2 failed attempts at medical management so can relate to that. Like you I had bleeding on and off but light for about 2 weeks after the MVA. Only just having my first proper period now which is 7 weeks after my MVA. It’s such a hard thing to go through. Hope you’re feeling better soon. X

I also had a missed misscarriage. Baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. Had surgical removal. It’s coming up to 7 weeks post op and still no period.

It’s so hard. I just want it to be over so I can move on. Is there a point when you should consult a doctor if you are still waiting for your period?
