Hi, I'm just looking for some advice. I have 2 living children so I understand this may appear greedy of me to want another. I've just always wanted a big family, it's something that I wished I had growing up.
Both children were born via c section, I had hyperemesis gravidarum with both and they did have some growth issues (slow growth but full term) and are both thriving.
Since November/December I have had 3 consecutive losses, all ending at 5 weeks.
I've had scans that have shown I have very mild Adenomyosis and my ovaries are a bit stuck due to adhesions but I was told this wouldn't cause the losses.
I saw a private doctor and was given 400mg of progesterone to use twice daily after a positive test. Unfortunately, I am currently miscarrying despite this.
I've read conflicting information that some people take the progesterone after ovulation so not sure if this would have been better.
My GP has done blood work twice, everything is normal, he was also reluctant to discuss further as I've had two children so this is bad luck.

I'd just really appreciate any advice. Thank you.

hi @Scouty21 I’m so sorry for your losses. I‘m afraid I don’t have any advice but I am
in a sort of similar situation. I have had two full term children, one stillborn, one I got to take home, so I am ttc my third. I’ve also had three miscarriages since October last year, two at 6 weeks and one at the moment at just under 5 weeks. I have been reading up on progesterone and wondered the same thing. I know there isn’t any evidence that it does help those who are not experiencing bleeding in pregnancy and therefore drs would be reluctant to prescribe it unless you have a scan to show there is a heartbeat. But I do know it works for some people and when you’re in this situation you feel like you’d try anything! I’m hoping someone comes along soon who can provide some advice. Xx
