2 early B2B miscarriages, PCOS and low thyroid

Hi,

I had to 2 back to back miscarriages in the last 3 months.

I got myself tested through a private hospital and got diagnosed with PCO and low thyroid. Have started my medications for them.

Even though I have PCOS, I have ovulation on the exact same day in my cycle, so ovulation is not not an issue and the doctor was pretty surprised to see that I had regular 31 days cycle.

My first miscarriage was around 6 weeks and 2nd was a chemical pregnancy.

The doctor further suspects I could have endometriosis but not sure why he could not confirm it during my ultrasound.

He now says he wants to perform a laparoscopy surgery to confirm the endometriosis and remove it if he sees the extra growth.

he also wants to perform a hysteroscopy to see the uterus and to check the uterus lining. He also said something about hysteroscopy drilling which if I understand correctly is the last resort to regulate ovulation, but in my case that is not an issue.

both of these procedures will be covered in my insurance and not so not very sure if I truly need them or if the doctor is performing them to only add it to the bill for the insurance company to cover.

have any1 done these procedures and did they help in anyway?

Any recommendations would be helpful.

thanks

I'm so sorry for your losses. It's such a hard thing to go through, no matter how early it happens. I didn't have the suspected issues you describe, but I did have two losses back to back. I was so upset and desperate for answers, but my third pregnancy was successful. Sometimes it's just awful luck. No advice or suggestions on the procedures but I hope it works out for you in the end 💐

I didn’t have your issues but I had at least four early miscarriages/ chemicals back to back before my first. It’s not as unusual as you might think. I put myself on aspirin and had my daughter.
