I am currently going through my third miscarriage. My second one was very traumatic due to a very uncaring EPU who didn't listen to my concerns which ultimately ended up with me needing emergency surgery and getting sepsis.
So as well as being absolutely heartbroken to be miscarrying a third time I was also terrified of what would happen.
I went to a different EPU as I've moved house and from the first phonecall they were nothing short of fantastic, so caring and attentive. They had a quiet room to sit in so you didn't have to sit back in a waiting room. Everyone from the receptionist to sonographer was so warm and friendly.
I can't explain how much of a difference it made to me and my husband to just be cared for and treated with love at such an upsetting time.
