Sorry for the graphic photo
I was in Sainsbury’s and had the worst cramp I have ever experienced in my life, completely overbearing and brought me to tears I was in so much pain and instantly felt like I was bleeding even though wasn’t my normal time of the month. I went to the toilet and when I wiped this came out along with a lot more blood to the point it was just dripping out. Could this be a miscarriage?* *

Was you pregnant or had a late period? My only MC wasn't painful. There was lots of bleeding before I passed a hand size clot then what looked like tissue. I was only 8 weeks..

Not entirely sure if I was or wasn’t. Have had a few typical symptoms but I also have high anxiety which I thought could be cause of nausea and upset stomach (silly me for being so naive I suppose) have been sexually active and only on the Pill which has failed me previously before (please no judgement although I’m aware my life choices may seem abit silly just going through a lot right now 🤦🏼‍♀️)

You'd maybe need to do a pregnancy test and see if anything comes up?

redbigbananafeet · 04/03/2023 22:59

If you were pregnant a test will likely come up positive still. I hope you're alright.

Badhairday101 · 04/03/2023 23:00

My miscarriages didn't happen like that and the clots and tissue that came out were significantly larger but I was around 11 weeks.
I'd do a pregnancy test, it's the only way to know if you are/were pregnant. If you test positive call the EPU and they will be able to give you advice. They'll probably scan you to see what's going on.

OP - I can’t say if it’s a miscarriage but have you had an STI test recently?

IncessantNameChanger · 04/03/2023 23:08

Good idea about the pg test. Write a "P" in your phone diary each time you get a period so you can loosely track cycles ( handy for looking back). My tests was positive for a long time.

Nat6999 · 04/03/2023 23:19

Roughly how long since you can last remember having a period & when did you last have sex? I have had early miscarriages & they didn't look like that, get a test ASAP & if it is negative see a doctor, are you still bleeding? If the bleeding is still heavy I would go to A & E, it could be a burst ovarian cyst.

Could it be a partial deciduous cast?

Akkhan94 · 05/03/2023 00:39

Did you find out what it was?
