Hi all, conscious of wasting my GPs time so wanted to check here to see if anyone has any words of support before I schedule an appointment.
- my last period started on about the 26th Jan
- i took a pregnancy test on the 20th Feb which was a dark positive line
- i then couldn’t believe it so kept taking tests, but they were getting fainter.
- on the 22nd Feb I wiped after using the toilet and there was like brown blood/discharge and a small amount of goo/goop (tmi I know, apologies but not sure how to describe it!).
- I scheduled a hcg blood test at a private clinic on 24th Feb and the results came back as 20iu/l and I was asked to come back in on the 27th Feb for a re-test
- to ease my nerves I took a test in the 26th Feb the night before and it was negative on a clear blue digital, so I cancelled my bloods as I just wanted to wallow in self-pity and not see anyone
i understand it’s only been a few days, but I’m getting no sign of a bleed coming (no cramping at all) and I’m just wondering how long I have to wait or do I need to see my Dr to let them know or what.
I just want to bleed so I know it’s over and I can go back to trying next month 😢
