How long until negative test after misoprostol

Had medical management (misoprostol) for MMC a couple of weeks ago now. Still getting positive pregnancy tests - quite strong ones.

How long did you take to see a negative test after misoprostol?

how far along in where you? if you are getting continual strong positives it may be worth checking in with the Early pregnancy unit so they can scan and ensure there is nothing remaining which is causing this.

I believe the further along the pregnancy you were the longer it takes to go back to zero, give the EPU a call and put your mind at ease

They're not super sure. We went in for our dating scan at what should have been just under 11 weeks and they said baby was measuring around 6-7 weeks without a heartbeat. Then I went back to confirm the loss one week later and they were measuring even smaller by a good few mms.

Thank you - I have an appointment over the phone on Thursday, so I'll be sure to mention it then. I just want to get back to trying again now. 😩 Really praying there's no RPOC.

Just to update this incase anyone is wondering the same in future; I still had positive pregnancy tests (strong) over weeks later and ended up having confirmed RPOC. Fingers and toes crossed for this second dose of misoprostol. 🤞🏻
