Hi , I’m looking for some advise.
I am / was 6w2d pregnant. I’ve been in and out the EPU for over a week with bleeding . It’s happened on 4 occasions which has got heavier each time . After each bleed I’ve had blood tests for HCG levels which was shown to be rising nicely. I also had a scan at 5w4d which shown the Sac and yolk sac. I had HCG done last Wednesday which was 14,067 and then had a big heavy bleed Wednesday evening . On Thursday afternoon I was gushing really heavy blood , cramping and lost a massive blood clot. As soon as I lost the clot the cramps and bleeding stopped and I’ve had nothing since and that was 4 days ago . I went for blood test the day after loosing the big blood clot and was told my HCG had risen to 20,000.
I’m booked in for a scan this Wednesday but not feeling very hopeful. Could I loose a blood clot size of my palm and still be pregnant ? Or was it the pregnancy it’s self that came away?
Ive had 2 previous miscarriages that was constant bleeding after passing the pregnancy for close to 2 weeks , but the bleeding stopped right after passing the clot this time which is confusing me.
Anyone had a similar situation and everything turned out okay? Any advice would be great thanks . Also sorry for the photo.

@3rdpregnancypraying I have had exactly the same thing but waiting for a scan next Wednesday - please keep us posted. I have my fingers tightly crossed that this is nothing serious and the scan goes well!!

@Caz04 my morning sickness seems to have faded over the last couple of days so I think it’s over for me :( . It’s the waiting that’s a killer , i just want it to be tomorrow already so I know for sure .

@3rdpregnancypraying I haven’t had any symptoms apart from the urge to pee constantly and forever being hungry which I raised when I had a scan but they told me symptoms do not mean anything as some women don’t have any but have a healthy pregnancy or some women have many but have had a miscarriage. They also said some women do bleed but the baby is fine. Everything just seems like a massive grey area and only the scans can be the real teller. I can 100% relate that the wait is the worst, the sitting in limbo with all these emotions and thoughts. But think, not even 24 hours away, you will have clarity. I hope you are okay!

@Caz04 Yeah my symptoms have been really bad nausea and headaches but haven’t had any for the last 2 days now and I’ve read that’s a sign of a miscarriage if your symptoms disappear. I’ve been bleeding really heavy today too with quite a few clots so I’m pretty sure it’s a miscarriage unfortunately. But yeah only time will tell and hopefully by some miracle it’s still in there . Just really hard to stay positive at this point
