Hi all, I’m 5 weeks pregnant recently confirmed by a clearblue test, but after miscarrying in the past I find my anxiety is too much to cope with, everytime I go to the toilet I have to sit there for about 10 minutes after building up the strength to check the toilet as I’m absolutely adamant there will be blood there, every little twinge and cramp i start thinking the worst, I’m really struggling mums please advise :(

It's so hard. All you can do is take it one day at a time, OP. It sounds super cliche but it's all you can do. I had 2 MMC's last year and am currently 15 weeks and feel exactly the same. Distract yourself with happy music / tv / books etc as much as you can. Best of luck, OP.

I completely relate - am 6 weeks pregnant and have had 2 previous losses.

I try to remind myself that wiping or not wiping won't change the outcome. Accepting the lack of control is the hardest part, but I just have to surrender.

And the more I wipe and just face my fear, the more normal it becomes to do it, if that makes sense?

Thank you so much, this helps a lot! It’s all I can do I suppose, it’s the cramps that are really worrying me they’re not severe or constant or anything like that just little twinges and pulls but I panic to the max!

Congratulations on 15 weeks by the way! I hope the anxiety has eased for you a little bit now! I’m absolutely counting down the 12 week mark goes so slow though x
