TTC after D&C

Anyone been in a similar situation? I lost my baby in September and then needed a further D&C in November due to retained tissue. Got my first period Boxing Day and I’m due on my period now but I am late and testing negative on tests. I had expected after my first period in December that things would go back to normal but now I feel it’s impossible to track my cycle now as I’m not sure when I will get my next period?!

After my d&c my first period arrived exactly as expected a few weeks later. After that they went a bit rogue for a few months and I was told it was normal and it could take a while for hormones to settle back down. It was so upsetting and frustrating at the time. Things did eventually return back to normal and 2 months after my regular cycle was back I fell pregnant again. But it did take what felt like forever for everything to settle back down. Good luck

Thank you for your response! Deep down i know that I have to be a bit more patient, it’s just so hard to relax and give things time! Hopefully things go back to normal over the next few months Xx
