Hi,

I have suffered a miscarriage I have been bleeding now for nearly three weeks, is this normal? The doctor didn’t seem to concerned but I am slightly worried.

Thankyou x

I'm so sorry for your loss. Everyone's bleeding is different. If you're worried contact the EPU and say you're worried. I hope you're okay. Here for support xx

Hi. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I am currently going through a miscarriage and have now been bleeding for 15 days and it’s ongoing. I had stopped bleeding by now with my previous loss in October. I have no advice sorry but wanted to wish you well

is it spotting or bleeding? With my most recent miscarriage I bled for 7 days then 14x days of spotting. Total 21 days

I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sure this is all sorted now but just wanted to say how sorry I am for you and to write back in case any one else is looking for answers. I had a miscarriage in January and bled for 3 weeks as well but this was because I had some left over tissue which caused the longer bleed time, I was advised at the hospital bleeding usually stops after 2 weeks, 3 weeks on some occasions but any longer and it's worth getting checked out to ensure there isn't a problem or any left over tissue which can cause infections.

Hi Lauren, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m currently going through the same and it will be 3 weeks on Tuesday. I’m still bleeding but it’s a very weird consistency but is more than spotting and lighter than a period. I’ve already had a course of antibiotics as it had gone a bit smelly 🤮
how long did yours take to stop bleeding? And have you had a cycle yet?
im just curious to hear other people’s experiences, no need to answer if I’m being too intrusive!
