Recurrent miscarriage with euploid embryos

Hi - after anyone with any advice or suggestions please? I have a weird history - late miscarriage at 20 weeks due to severe IUGR followed by an ectopic pregnancy followed by a miscarriage at 7 weeks. All chromosomally normal. Last miscarriage was also on progesterone, oestrogen patches, clexane and prednisolone. Not sure how to move forward!

I'm really, really sorry to hear about this, I can't imagine going through this three times, with embryos you knew to be euploid. What has your fertility clinic said? One thing that stands out is you've had three very different types of pregnancy loss - which could well indicate you have just been incredibly unlucky, rather than a singular cause.

Have you had a hysteroscopy? That could highlight any womb abnormalities etc, which I believe can be associated with IUGR as well as early miscarriages. Other than that, have you had a referral to the Miscarriage clinic for your blood tests?

Thank you for replying! I know it’s so odd as there is no pattern which I don’t know if that is helpful or not! I haven’t had a hysteroscopy - I have had a very detailed scan and they couldn’t find anything abnormal in the structure / no fibroids etc. I have had most of the blood tests done and all back normal! I will mention the hysteroscopy to my dr and see what they think. I feel like I have had most tests done and last time they covered everything with the steroids, blood thinners etc just to be on the safe side and we had a heartbeat at 6 weeks and then found out at 8 week scan so no idea what happened!

Have you been tested for mthfr gene? If you have it then you don't process folic acid properly and should switch to methylfolate and eliminate all folic acid from diet when ttc and during pregnancy

I don’t think I have but I took methylfolate last pregnancy rather than folic acid but one I can definitely look into!
