fetus shrinks after heart stops beating

i’ve read a couple things saying that the fetus will shrink after it stops growing and the heart stops beating. does anyone know if this is true? i was measuring 8 weeks 5 days when i found out there was no heart beat but i would have been 13 weeks at the time. 2 days later i was measuring 8 weeks 2 days. did baby pass later than i thought but shrunk down to 8 weeks?

I'm no doctor but I don't think the fetus shrinks.

Kindly, is this helpful to you? There's a lot of things about MCs that are unknown and that we cannot quantify or answer. Its really easy to obsess - I hope you recover quickly.
