Feeling numb

So today I think(well I know) Ive miscarried. I tried to contact my EPU but noone answered and as I'm having no pain just bleeding like my period I'm going to wait until Monday when I'm hoping someone will be.
I guess I'm writing on here to just get some support . It's my first, I'm 39 and I feel like I've let everyone down. Google has sent me into overdrive and I just want the hope that I can catch again and have a health little baby. Thankyou in advance for any support/ advice that you can give.

Oh my gosh please don't feel like you let anyone down. These things happen and they're not you're fault at all. Try to rest as much as you can. I hope you get through to EPU on Monday. It could be a loss or it could be not. Allow yourself to feel what you feel. Keep posting on here for support but please don't blame yourself. I've had a loss followed by a health pregnancy. Don't worry yourself too much. I remember when I first started bleeding I though my whole world had collapsed but what I didn't know was it made me stronger.

I tried to stay positive but I know in my heart of hearts it's a loss. I know people say things happen for a reason and maybe they do but right now I just feel so embarrassed and like I say a let down. I'm a little scared too if I'm honest. Thankyou so much for your kind words and replying to my post

I'm so sorry my lovely. I don't want to give false hope but I had two very big bleeds with one of my pregnancies where I was sure I had lost the baby. After a scan all
Was fine and it was a haematoma.

How much are you loosing? How far along are you?

I'm so sorry this his happening. Sending love x

I'm just over 6 weeks. Blood always looks worse in water and when it's coming out (sorry to be so graphic) but if I look at my sanitary towel it's moderate bleeding (after looking on the internet) it's not light. Thankyou again for your support

I’m so sorry, on Christmas Eve too 😔 I don’t want to give false hope I really don’t, but my bleeding in both pregnancies at 6-7 weeks was classed as moderate and a threatened miscarriage, I now have two very healthy girls. These things really can go either way, but I suppose it’s the not knowing that’s worst. Sending you the biggest hug and keeping everything crossed for you x

I also had period like bleeding with both my girls and all was well. On the flip side I also lost a baby at 11 weeks around Christmas time. It was really hard but I got pregnant quite quickly and had a newborn by the following Christmas, so things may look very different for you next year. Sending love

I guess I won't properly know until i go to the EPU, fingers crossed I can get an appointment for next week. I do pray and hope that it is nothing to worry about but it really doesn't look good. Thankyou again for your post. To all of you I really am grateful especially as it's Xmas eve I know your all busy with prepping so thankyou for your time.

So sorry what your going through. I had a miscarriage on Christmas Eve 2 years ago, I felt my whole world fall apart.
I did get pregnant 2 months later again and she now is 14 months old.
sending lots of love to you

Thankyou. I haven't told anyone, only my husband knows, it's hard as I just don't want to burden anyone with my news around this time of year.
I'm so sacred that I'm bleeding but if I do have any pain I'll go straight to the hospital. Thankyou for your post

BERG23 · 24/12/2022 21:00

Thankyou!!!💕
I'm hoping there will be someone in as it's a money but I appreciate it's also bank holiday and they will be so short staffed but any advice they can give me over the phone will be so helpful and provide some reassurance. That's all I'm after right now.

You could book to go private? Window to womb near me had scans on 27th.

Thing is if you're just past 6 weeks it may be very hard to see anything on the scan. They may literally tell you to watch and wait ☹️ with my first baby he was ivf and my clinic didn't scan until at least 7+ weeks to make sure they could see something in the scan.

babynoname22 · 24/12/2022 22:07

Also. How sure are you if your dates? It could be implantation bleeding?

I bled the day before my official test day from my ivf pregnancy and I think now it was implantation bleeding

The first day of my last period was 8th November. I put it in the pregnancy calculator and depending on my cycle length I could be 5-6 weeks or 6-7 weeks.
But there will be literally a few days in it I think.
I've read they can do a blood test to see if yours still pregnant along with a scan to see if there is a sac.
I think until I get checked out I can only think it's the worse scenario I guess, but saying a little prayer just in case
