Hi, I’ve just been prescribed methotrexate again as they can’t see anything on scans and my HCG is low and rising only slowly 190-410 in a week. This is my third consecutive loss after trying for a year, I’m 37 and terrified this will keep happening. The EPU have said they could refer me to the obstetrician/fertility clinic but the consultant told me that most times no cause is found and I should just keep trying. However midwife today said that these are not straightforward miscarriages having not found any embryo twice. I have somewhat irregular cycles and reccurant pelvic pain. Been checked for endometriosis a long time ago but she said she has a particular interest in this area and my symptoms sound like I could have this. She’s advised I go back to GP and ask to be referred to a gynaecologist, get fertility blood tests and ask for an MRI with contrast to check what’s going on inside. So lots of conflicting advice and no clear route forward. What should I do. I can’t go through another PUL/methotrexate 😞

How you getting on OP - similar position 37 YO trying for 1st. Two miscarriages at 36 now not getting pregnant. I think I have endometriosis and going for ivf with egg collection next month but also think I need endometriosis diagnosis as believe that’s been the cause of previous / miscarriage with bad eggs. I didn’t realise hip pain was a sign of endometriosis. I just had bad period cramps which I thought was normal. I’m beyond scared this will never happen for me and my partner. Xxx
