Trying again after a miscarriage

Has anyone tried again straight after bleeding from a miscarriage stopped? If so what was your experience? Or did you wait until 1 period before trying?
Part of me wants to just try again. Waiting for one period seems so long especially when it took a year to get pregnant.

We didn't exactly wait for a period to start trying but I found it hard to track in that time in between.

So no we didn't wait. we still had unprotected sex between the miscarriage bleeding and my next period. Didn't catch that time but caught on the second period after miscarriaging both times.

I tried immediately and got pregnant that cycle on the advice of the doctor. He said it's the best time to try immediately after and it appears he was right. Good luck x

You can try straight away after your miscarriage symptoms have stopped and you don’t have to wait for a period. I believe a study says that you are more fertile after a MC

I literally had my miscarriage, waited a couple of weeks and then tried again and was pregnant straight away. Good luck x

Did you have your first period? I’ve read it can take 4-6 weeks and it’s seems like such a long time.

No I didn't wait for a period. I never had one between my loss and then getting pregnant.

I've been trying straight after my miscarriage but no pregnancy 3 months later. Feeling very disheartened as I conceived very quickly before so thought I would again. My periods haven't settled yet so hoping they will soon. It's hard to not put pressure on yourself x

I think the NHS like you to wait until after your next period because it makes dating easier, but healthwise you can begin having sex once the bleeding has stopped.

The wait does feel endless, I am surprised by how badly I want to be pregnant after miscarrying earlier this month, but I'm waiting on a cervical polyp to be removed before we can try again
