Miscarriage/TTC after this ?

Morning all,

I recently had a miscarriage last night at 5+6.
we're absolutely devastated, even though it's only such as short period of time you still have all the excitement and talk with your husband.

Now that I've slept on it I have so many questions, if anyone can help me out that would be amazing.

• when can we try for a baby again ?

-is my miscarriage classed as a period should I track this ? -I've passed blood clots and went through full box of pads and the cramps and heartache, when should this flow ease ?

So sorry for your loss @mum2b29 My GP advised waiting for your first period following the miscarriage then trying again. Keep taking folic acid in the meantime. Sounds like hopefully you won't have much longer left of bleeding particularly as it was an early miscarriage. My recent pregnancy ended at a similar point (though I didn't find out until week 7). I had bleeding on and off for a week but it can vary person to person. All the best
