Bleeding after sex following miscarriage

Had a mmc at 10 weeks and had an erpc 10 days ago. The bleeding had settled a few days after so me and DH DTD last night, and since I’ve had a lot of bleeding and just passed a small clot (sorry tmi 🙈) is this normal?!
Since googling I’m now panicking about risk of infection. The hospital didn’t give any advice as to how long to wait so thought it’d be fine as bleeding had stopped.

Hope you're okay. Could you go back to the hospital and say you're concerned as bleeding has started again? It could be something left over?
