IVF miscarriage?

Hi all, hoping to get some answers.. I am now 2 weeks post ET. I started spotting on day 9 and it became mild bleeding with clots on day 11. I also tested positive at the same time and it’s confusing me! On top of that, I have had weird discharge from yesterday and today. So hoping you can help with my questions:

1. does anyone know what the discharge in the picture is? Warning: It is gross!
2. Can I bleed and continue to be pregnant?

This is my first IVF cycle and will be my second miscarriage if all is not well :(

Hey, I imagine you have the answers now? I had my FET on October 31st so was in a similar situation to you.

I got the same bleeding and discharge. My early scan showed a small and very empty gestational sac. I’m assuming it’s a blighted ovum as they ruled out ectopic.

I had very strong positive pregnancy tests at home and although my HCG was on the lower side initially, compared to a previous successful pregnancy, it more than doubled at the expected times.

You can have a positive test even after a miscarriage. The HCG tests can be distressingly misleading depending on your situation.

I started spotting and bleeding- same as in your photos. It stopped for a few days. Then a few days later I got what felt like period cramps for an hour or so and started bleeding again. Then later that evening I passed a clot.

I’m now just waiting to either miscarry or if I haven’t by Tuesday, then I’ll be going to my viability scan and seeking more answers at my my clinic on Tuesday.
