Bleeding after miscarriage

Hi I had a miscarriage on Thursday and passed the sac that day. The bleeding was very heavy that day and heavy Friday and yesterday it started heavy and slowed down then started again. It seems to be heavier when I wake up in the morning. The pain is less than what period cramps would be I’m just worried about the bleeding being heavy and small clots 3 days later. Should I be worried or is it normal?

Had the miscarriage on Sunday morning and still heavy bleeding now.

Saw the doctor today. She said bleeding can persist for up to 2 weeks so don't worry. You may want to look into taking some iron pills or eating more iron rich foods for the blood loss.

She's booked me in for a visit to see a doctor in around 2 weeks just to make sure everything has been cleared from the uterus.
