Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi

I had a missed miscarriage in June and started TTC again after my first period in July.
My period has just came today and I'm starting to feel like we're not going to get pregnant again.
How long did it take to get pregnant after miscarriage for anyone else? I'm hoping some success stories will lift me back up again

Hi, hoping someone can answer you. I'm in the same boat. And I'd love to know how soon you can start trying. Should I wait a whole cycle? I have heard that a lot of people get pregnant again quite soon. Good luck!!

I had a MMC end of Aug/beginning of September - just got my positive test this week. My GP advised to wait for first period so that the uterus lining can repair and be ready for a pregnancy. I had two periods post miscarriage before conceiving. Best of luck to you both.

@tulipsunday Thanks!! Yeah good to know. I thought it best to wait, just make sure everything is out and good to go again.

Took me 6 cycles. Unfortunately, I think you're essentially back to square one (which is gutting), so up to one year trying would be normal

I would say also prepare for cycles to possibly be irregular post miscarriage. My cycles were short and I think I ovulated around day 10/11 when I conceived though pre MMC my cycles would be on the long side. Good luck

@NicoleW8 No advice but I feel the same as you, I had my mmc end of July and then a chemical in September but I just feel hopeless. I know it can take a while but it happened so quickly the first time so im finding it very difficult to be patient this time! CD1 is always the worst, sending you lots of love ❤️

After my tfmr I got pregnant on my fifth cycle and after my last miscarriage I got pregnant in the third cycle. Still early days with this one. I know it’s hard, sending you lots of positive vibes.

I’m so sorry about your miscarriage! I had one too—my first pregnancy—in August, and have just found out (two days ago) that I’m pregnant again. I hope it happens soon for you!

I got pregnant again the cycle after my mmc surgery but that also ended in mc I'm hoping it doesn't take too long again this time 🤞🏼
