TMI warning ⚠️ pictures. Periods:ovulation after miscarriage

I had miscarriage 4 weeks ago , hcg left my system around 13th October . Ovulation sticks recently have been haywire saying I’m ‘ovulating’ 3 times throughout on 16th October , 21 October and yesterday 2nd November and today 3rd of November.
but today the same day I got another positive ovulation test I have started to spot , photos attached. What could this be I’m ovulating or not or could be starting period but why positive ovulation tests.

Could it be ovulation bleeding? I often get spotting around the time of ovulation and was told by a sonographer when I got it checked out that it is quite normal.

@clhsgirl it seems that after having another Ovulation positive yesterday I have started off with a light red period now on the same day that evening … even though the pregnancy HCG is out my system for a couple weeks could it still be hormones at play 1 month after my miscarriage?- because how could I be ovulating and period on same day.

I’m just hoping this resets everything then I can conceive again :(

@SarahHewitt you said the hcg left your body around mid-Oct - did you actually get a negative pregnancy test then? It took 4 weeks for me to get a negative pregnancy test after I had surgical management for mine. I am wondering if your ovulation tests are actually picking up trace levels of hcg, because ovulation tests aren't sophisticated enough to differentiate between hcg and lh.

Secondly, the first period after a miscarriage doesn't necessarily mean ovulation; consider it more like a withdrawal bleed (like you may have if you're on the pill), which is just an indication of a drop in hormones. My guess would be after this mini period your cycle will return to normal and you'll genuinely ovulate.

yeah I was showing up still ‘pregnant’ from the 1st October untill the 10th October so I left it another 3 days and on the 13th October I got a negative pregnancy test so the hcg finally left my system couple weeks after my early miscarriage.

My ovulation test this week wouldn’t of picked up Hcg because it went out my system a couple weeks ago when I got the negative pregnancy test I would of assumed? But literally it said I was ovulating the day I came on my 1st period after miscarriage 🤷🏻‍♀️ which was strange . Maybe like how you said it’s like a breakthrough bleed it’s my period but because it’s the 1st maybe my ovulation was really off?
