Acne after MMC

I know this is very trivial but did anyone else get awful hormonal acne after a miscarriage?

I don't normally get spots. Had a MMC in July which didn't go well (haemorrhage, retained products and infection). My cycles are back to normal now but my jaw is covered in bumpy spots/cysts which won't reach a head. Also noticed some spots on my body, which is not normal for me. Skincare isn't doing much to shift it, just feel like my hormones have gone haywire when normally I have a very regular cycle and know what my usual hormonal symptoms are if that makes sense.

I’m a few months late in replying but I’ve only just come across your post - and in an entirely selfish I’m so glad it’s not just me! I had a MMC in July followed by failed medical management, a haemorrhage then eventually an MVA in early September and my acne has been horrendous ever since. I rarely got spots before, and if i did it was one or two, this is right across my jaw, chin and cheeks. Nothing I’ve tried seemed to help. You say it’s trivial but it’s just another horrendous thing to deal with on top of everything else. Mine seems to be clearing slightly now but it’s left behind some pretty noticeable.

Ah thanks for replying! So sorry you had to go through a similar horror, it's really awful. My acne cleared too but the body spots seem pretty persistent! They are so awful and I've never had anything like them before urgh!

I found my face broke out after mine too. I put it down to crashing hormones.
