Hi all,

Has anybody ever tried the Ava bracelet? And had a successful quick pregnancy.

I've been doing my research but not sure it spending £250 is worth it.

Thank you

I've been using an Ava bracelet for about 13-14 months. It's made it a lot easier to see my fertile window so I wouldn't be without it as my charts are much more level and I have a much better idea of what is going on. I have irregular cycles and have had previous unexplained infertility so I wouldn't judge the time it has taken me as a reflection on the success of the Ava bracelet.

I liked the pregnancy tracker side of it as we conceived last cycle but had a missed miscarriage. I actually found it useful tracking temperature back down then. The strap on mine recently broke (at what felt like the worst possible time), so we glued it temporarily and they've just sent a replacement, so slow, but very good customer service. I honestly think I would struggle now without it as it gives me a sense of control over something I can't really help or influence very much.

It isn't recommended for women with irregular cycles so ava tends to estimate my fertile window earlier, but I plug the temperature and resting heart rate into fertility friend too to get a clearer idea. So for example, I am CD 25 with a positive LH test yesterday, whereas ava thinks I ovulated about 4-5 days ago.

The thing with bbt tracking is that it can only detect ovulation retrospectively, but you can build up enough data over cycles to know when your best bets for timing are. If I have a decent cycle I should aim for CD 21-26, then I have to wait and see. I use that combined with LH tests. It's also been good at tracking my luteal phase temperatures in more detail.

Hiya @shen70 I was sceptical like yourself. I've tried fertility trackers before like the Clearblue monitor etc and ovulation strips from Boots - but Ava (when used properly) is more accurate. I found I was waaaay off on what I thought was my fertile window. Me and hubby were ttc for over 2 years (after a history of 2 miscarriages) - but using Ava I'm now 3 months pregnant after 4 months of using the Ava app. Theres so much data it provides - you just need to be really on top of it to get the best out of it. We are selling ours now - its fully boxed in original packaging. Selling for £150 if interested.

Anyway take care all 😀

Hiya @SabrinaTaylor999

Bit of long shot but worth a try. Are you still selling your Ava Fertility Bracelet?
