ACPR and recurrent loss

Hello! Name changed as posting on behalf of my sister.

She and her husband have sadly had three losses before 9 weeks this year, one loss was found to have a chromosone abnormality. They are able to fall pregnant relatively quickly but have been suggested genetic IVF.

They've both had karyotype bloods done as part of investigations which have thankfully come back normal, but my sister has been told she has ACPR and we are struggling to find much information, and even more so information that is understandable to non doctors.

Has anyone got any experiences that they would kindly share as to what their conception journey with acpr looked like? Was it a case of anticoagulants and try without IVF? Did you go ahead with IVF? What questions should they ask when they speak to their consultant?

Sorry, what is ACPR? Googled it and don't see anything

Hello! It's activated c protein resistance - from what we can tell ots to do with blood being more likely to clot which can cause miscarriage. We can't work out if its rare as not much info or just quite rare because one article said 10-15% prevalence. I think there had been some old mumsnet posts around it but they didn't provide much insight so we were wondering if anyone has any additional information.
