Sorry if this upsets anyone. Can anyone please give their thoughts, is this miscarriage or period? I’m in a lot of pain and my period is a lot earlier than expected but had a strange spotting period last month

Had you done a pregnancy test before that was positive?

Have you done one today to check?

If period earlier than expected, I'd suspect just a period.

I don't think you get any extra tissue until at least 5 weeks (?).

With my miscarriage there was a lot of tissue but I was 8.5 weeks.

I done a test at the start of what I thought was implantation bleeding last month which was negative. It was brown and only when I wiped. I decided not to get myself worked up and if I was late this month then I would take a test. Called my nurse today who done a high pelvic swab last week who said she saw brown discharge which could have been start of a chemical - she’s advised me just to rest and let nature take its course so I didn’t bother to go out and get more tests.
There was a few signs last week that suggest pregnancy but when your trying somehow these happen every other month

Hard to say if it's a miscarriage or not if you've not had a positive test really, it would still be positive now if you wanted to test to know for sure
