I'm currently undergoing my 2nd miscarriage, picked up at a scan at 7 weeks following significant cramping. I was told it looked like a blighted ovum (empty sac) and I had a follow up at 8 weeks where there had been no further growth or development, and so a miscarriage was confirmed. It's nearly been 4 weeks since that first scan and I haven't had any further cramping or any bleeding at all.

This past week I've been feeling very nauseous and queasy, just generally run down. Has anyone else had this? And how long have people waited before nature ran its course or they went for medical/surgical option?

I am not against those options, having had both in the past, I'm just not in the country at the minute so can't have my hospital follow up for 3 more days.

So the nausea starting at this level isn't a standard miscarriage symptom, turns out it's a molar pregnancy.
