Does it sound like a miscarriage?

Hi, I’m a mum with 2 young children already and in a relatively new relationship. I have a copper coil but I always forget to check the threads. I have never had much cycle variation in my life and always run like clockwork, but my last period was very light, only lasted a couple of days and was very watery. I thought nothing of it and assumed it was a stress thing, but then a couple of weeks after I started having symptoms I have only ever had when pregnant before (heartburn, nausea, headaches, pelvic aches and a variety of other things) but I was out of the country without my DP in a place where an unmarried woman couldn’t safely buy a pregnancy test so I tried to ignore it and again put it down to stress. Since returning, I started getting very bad pelvic and back cramps (I don’t get period pains so didn’t think it was this) then my period came very suddenly, heavy (filled a 50ml menstrual cup 4 times in an hour at first, and I have never had a heavy period before) with some small clots and 2 days late. A few pregnancy tests were negative but the last one I thought I could see a very faint second line but was I just imagining it because I was worrying about it?

Today has only brought moderate bleeding but the pain is still quite bad, I have been in bed all day. Does this sound like I may actually have miscarried and missed the hcg giving a positive test because it spiked whilst I was away or am I being dramatic thinking this is the case? I am aware that ectopic pregnancy is a risk with a copper coil and these pregnancies can give much lower hcg levels and are prone to spontaneous miscarriage before they are identified and medically intervened so my mind has been racing about this and whether I should get a scan or just let this pass and see if I’m feeling fine after since it is already improving.
Sorry for the long post too, extra info is we don’t use any other contraception and we are not ttc (it would be silly if we were with a coil!!!) I’d appreciate your thoughts
