Posted this on the infertility forum, then realised maybe I should have posted here instead as it's about miscarriage. Hope it's ok to post twice.
We've had 3 consecutive miscarriages after having our first child. Blood tests at NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic all came back clear. The miscarriages might very well have been due to my age as they happened in my early/mid forties, but we're thinking of going private before ttc again so we don't end up going through more miscarriages if they could be avoided, not least because time's not on our side! E.g. have heard about immune issues with second and subsequent pregnancies and other issues which wouldn't be tested for on the NHS.
Any recommendations for private clinics in Edinburgh or Scotland generally? I've seen recommendations for Dr Regan and Dr Shehata in London and Dr Quenby in Coventry, but nobody in Scotland? Thanks a lot.
