MMC Misopritol and cramping

Hello all

Can I ask how long you had cramping after medical management of MMC? I had intense cramping like contractions after starting medication on saturday, I've had a natural miscarriage before which felt like this and I believe with the clots passed at this time I likely passed sac and baby.
This intense cramping stopped on Saturday night then until yesterday I started having cramps more like a period pain (not intense or wave like contractions but constant). I have had period like bleeding since Saturday.
I dont know if this cramping is my womb settling down again or sign of infection..? Has anyone had similar experience? I don't want to bother GP or A&E if ots just normal for Medical management MMC. I didn't have this constant cramping with natural miscarriage

I'm sorry for your loss - I hope you are able to feel physically comfortable soon. The emotional side of things is much harder.

When I had medical management I did have cramping for around 24 hours after I'd taken the misoprostol. And I didn't quite feel 'right' for around a week after - though it wasn't painful as such. Felt like a bruise might do. - if that makes sense.

In all honesty - you wouldn't be bothering the doctor if you called - looking after yourself and putting your mind at rest by just hearing confirmation that your symptoms are expected, is so important.
