Medical management

Has anyone had success with medical management for a missed miscarriage when it has failed to work for a previous missed miscarriage?

I had three attempts using misoprostol for my first missed miscarriage and ended up needing a D&C as nothing really happened.

This time I really don’t want another D&C as the last one caused scarring - but I am convinced the misoprostol is not going to work again.

Xx

I have just had a medically managed missed miscarriage. I had a mucus plug and when scanned it appeared baby had passed up to 5 weeks before. I was given mifepristone then around 36h later i was getting cramps and was given the drug you mentioned (i think) and delivered within a few hours. This is considering my body wasnt naturally ready as far as I was aware so dependent on the tabelts.

Hiya hope you're okay? Did you take prednisone with this pregnancy? What is your plan now? I am going to ask Prof Quenby re steroids as well. Xx
