Miscarriage clots TW-pictures of clots!!!

im unfortunately having my first miscarriage and it’s horrendous. I’m not filling a pad in an hour but I am having big gushes with huge clots. As you can see on the pictures the gushes are filling my pads. Is this normal? My pregnancy was of an unknown location and I couldn’t have been more than 4-7 weeks. My highest HCG was 191.

my clots are big and my bleedings heavy-ish. I’m more worried because I have started to feel unwell, migraine, diarrhoea and cramps. I have taken pics for when I go back to EPU, Am I being dramatic?

I'm sorry this is happening to you.It's probably worth calling 111;they'd be able to get you a call back from a medical professional who can advise you on further steps.

No you're not being overdramatic. Have you spoken to EPU? Can you keep an eye on your temperature. Are you keeping water down and passing urine?

Hi. Thankyou for responding. I haven’t been checking my temperature, if I’m honest I’ve just been trying to deal with it with as less intervention as possible. I’ve just spoken to them and they are concerned of ‘retained products’ I am going in to see them tomorrow morning as I’m actually away on holiday.

so In short, I’ve suffered a missed miscarriage 7week 4days I think they said the baby measured.

it started the week before I was due my dating scan.. light spotting, progressing but no other symptoms
I went for an emergency scan with a bit of hope only to be told there was no heartbeat and for some reason which they didn’t discuss ‘ they wouldn’t be needing to do another scan ‘ and so I was given the 3 options.
I opted for natural route and let thing progress at home,
so far it’s been 3 days of hellish contractions spent dosed up on strong painkillers and hot water bottles in bed.
then I passed the first images (peachy coloured tissue the size of my pink nail if not smaller )

I thought that was it , along with various other red blood clots that wernt tissue looking, I thought I’d passed the baby in full and had a cry,
The pain seemed to subside after this and today I’ve been more ‘normal’ basically I’ve gone the day with no pain relief or pain. Just aches
then I got the urge to poop!
i haven’t done this in days for obvious reasons.
i went to the toilet, and when I wiped the front area something was half hanging out of me, I didn’t want to pull or tear anything so I ran a bath and gave a few pushes , and this giant organ thing came out. (Refer to other images )

can anyone tell me what the hell is what? I’m due to take them to hospital for testing etc tomorrow afternoon but ???
im kinda numb but just really curious for closures sake

Hey, yeah, the hospital said it looked like everything (placenta,sac,fetus tissue) all came away at once pretty much, Thankyou x

Gosh @Sadmummyx thats must have been quite a shock. How many weeks were you?

Hopefully the hospital have let you know to take a pregnamcy test a couple of weeks afyer you passed the sac etc and call if positive? Hope you're ok.

So in short, I was supposed to go in for my dating scan on the Monday afternoon where I should’ve been between 10-12 weeks.. I saw the heartbeat at 6+3 it was really strong, then my symptoms started to fade a few weeks later, after the had faded pretty much altogether I started with very light spotting on the weds night which got worse overnight, by Thursday morning I was losing red blood with clots , very small but I just knew, I was booked in for an emergency ultrasound Thursday afternoon where they told me there was no heartbeat, afterwards I asked how big baby was as it was fine at the private scan at 6+3.. she told me it was measuring at 7+4 and they wouldn’t be doing another scan, I was given the 3 options and sent on my way, spent the next 3-4 days in agony with intense contractions, back pain and bleeding progressively getting worse and spending as much time in the bath as I could so I didn’t accidentally flush anything..💔 managed to salvage what I could and am currently waiting for lab results to see if there was any problems/fetal tissue for cremation, I’m okay , as much as can be expected, Thankyou xxx

Hi I'm just wondering thoughts on this blood clot. Could this be a miscarriage? I was around a week late coming on. The bleeding has been very heavy but cramps have not been too bad. I did a test a couple of days before but no lines appeared.

Hi @GTL that's a blood clot, it doesn't look like foetal matter itself, if that's what you mean.

Hi this basically "fell out" of me tonight. I'm on the Marina coil and not currently on. Had light bleeding today but I bleed most days.. under investigation.
I'm rather concerned as this doesn't look like "normal" clots for me.
Advice please?

Hi not sure what this is. Sorry for tmi.
so back story. I missed my period for about 3 months. Went doctors they said bloods for ovarian cysts came back abnormal. (Waiting for scan) they never mentioned me being pregnant. Not long after I had what I thought was a period finally. Anyhow i went on holiday abroad. I took some contraceptive pills just while on holiday so I didn’t come on while away. Never missed a pill and they’re the ones that stop periods completely.. been getting a small amount of cramps today. (Still abroad) and then started to spot and then went toilet and seen this clot in my pants. Sorry for tmi. I never clot when on a period though. Could I have been pregnant and miscarrying??

I don’t know, I was bleeding very heavily with cramps. Just wondering if this is just clots or something more. Same day(yesterday) filling up pads very quickly and multiple clots. Sorry for the images 🫣

Hi, I didn’t do a test so I’m not sure

when I miscarried, I still tested positive for about 3 weeks after. I’m not sure in everyone’s circumstances but my bleeding and clots were a lot heavier and larger than yours. If it’s bad I would suggest going to get checked. 💜 hope your okay. It’s a horrible thing to go through xx
