Retained product after ERCP?

I had an ERPC a month ago and just got a call from the doctor to say the tests they did on the tissue they removed did not find evidence of a pregnancy, just that there had been a pregnancy. He suggested I had passed the pregnancy before the ERCP but I had no bleeding at all before it, and only light bleeding for a day after. I’m really concerned that the pregnancy tissue is still in there and I’ll need another ERPC? I have a scan booked for early next week but feel very upset and stressed.
has anyone else had a similar situation?

I had this after a d and c for miscarriage I knew because I still bled for 2 months after the original erpc and had to go back. Its good that you are getting rescanned, depending on how far along you were the pregnancy could have passed prior to the erpc?
