Miscarriage bleeding/tissue

Is it normal not to have any clots or tissue during a miscarriage? I’ve been bleeding for nearly 3 weeks now? No clots or tissue just blood, is this normal?

Do you know how far along you were?

Yes 8 weeks, I went yesterday for a scan couldn’t find anything in my uterus. Had bleeding for 3 weeks, really light. Found a mass next to my ovaries (didn’t go into details of what they thought it might be) so not sure if it’s the baby or not. Found fluid in my uterus. They expected it to be an ectopic but haven’t confirmed. Hormone was lower yesterday then Monday. So said with me being well and having no pain sent me home till next week will then check my hormone again. Said to ring if I have any serious bleeding or pain. Just had no serious bleeding or clots? Does that mean the baby is still somewhere? I’m so confused and fed up

That's a strange one. I miscarried my 7 week baby at 8 weeks and passed three clots, one of which was the pregnancy and the other two were just clots. So I'd think you should be getting something more than bleeding? I'd push them to be honest, it sounds like they've kind of left you in limbo with no answers! 😩

@rach971 im going to ring on Monday just to have a chat with them. I have no pain just little niggles really. And pain down my legs. I just want it all to be over now. Knowing my baby has gone just want to try to get on with things x
