At 10 weeks I lost all the symptoms of being pregnant. Having previously had a MMC I knew the signs. I was diagnosed with PLU and given a leaflet and sent home by the clinic. I have to go for weekly blood tests to wait for my levels to drop to 10. I haven’t had any spotting for over a week now. Can anyone helps with what happens now as I can’t get any sense from the hospital TIA

Sorry you're going through this, I had scans and HCG blood test 2 days apart to check for levels rising or falling, nothing was ever seen on a scan. They then sent me home for a week to come back for a scan to see if anything developed and I started to miscarry the day before going for the scan, I went for the scan they did more blood to check if levels are decreasing, I find out tomorrow the results x

Sorry to hear this. I’ve not had any bleeding which is frustrating and the nurses just say I have to go back for blood tests every week which could be for months. I hate the unknown and lack of explanation x

Do you know if your bloods are rising? That seems like such a long time to wait x

Not they are dropping. Last Monday they were in the 2000s, on the Wednesday they were in the high 1000s now they are in the 1100s. Have to wait until it drops to 10

What a tough time, I'm assuming they are waiting for you to miscarry naturally and if that doesn't happen they would have options for you to get help to start the process x

It is tough to get your head around. They won’t actually answer what happens really which is why I was hoping to find someone who had experienced it beforehand 😔

It is! I've been through it twice but both times I started to miscarry naturally unfortunately the answer to a lot of problems in pregnancy is the wait and see approach but it is agonising 😔 Hopefully someone else comes alone who has also been in your situation with more advice x
