me and my partner were not trying for a baby I only gave birth 9 months ago! I was on the mini pill up until June then moved onto the injection (pregnancy test was not done before moving onto the injection)
I’ve been on the injection in the past and never bled. From around Tuesday I was getting severe cramping which I used to get anyway on the injection so didn’t think anything of it. Sunday came and I started my period- weird but my body was changing so thought I may just have periods on the injection now. Yesterday I was changing my tampon and felt this massive clot come out of me (picture attached). I called my dr in a panic who told me to come in and get it checked. She did a pregnancy test which was negative but did a technique which can see if it’s a blood clot or a miscarriage and came back it was part of a miscarriage. Has anybody had this before? I thought if I was having a miscarriage my tests would be positive? I’m no longer bleeding I literally had a couple of days and once I passed that clot I stopped bleeding. I’m off for a scan Thursday but I’m just so shocked. Has anybody had this and baby been ok? I asked the dr and she couldn’t say if it would show a baby on the scan or not
